BGBA Holds Important Meeting with Honorable Members to Strengthen the Buying House Sector and Expand International Markets

The Bangladesh Garment Buying House Association (BGBA) held an important and constructive meeting at its office with honorable members, chaired by BGBA President Mr. Abdul Hamid. The meeting focused on overcoming the challenges facing the buying house sector, expanding international markets, identifying new buyers, and strengthening Bangladesh’s position in the global apparel industry.

During the meeting, Mr. M. R. U. N. K. Lodi presented a proposal titled “National Fund for Buying House Export Sustainability and Market Expansion.” The discussion emphasized the importance of greater participation in international trade fairs, systematic buyer development, market research, and the promotion of Bangladeshi brands in global markets.

The honorable members, including Mr. M. D. Akhtaruzzaman, Mr. Najibul Haque, Mr. Mahbubur Rahman, Mr. Shahid Hossain, Mr. Khondker Jubayed Bin Obayed, Mr. Nazrul Islam, and Mr. M. R. U. N. K. Lodi, shared their valuable insights, experiences, and recommendations.
