3rd Bangladesh-Spain Expo 2026 Opens in Seville to Boost Trade and Investment

Seville, Spain: Ms. Shama Obaed Islam, MP, State Minister for Foreign Affairs, inaugurated the 3rd Bangladesh-Spain Expo 2026 in Seville, Spain, bringing together business leaders, policymakers, and entrepreneurs from both countries.

Around 40 Bangladeshi and Spanish companies showcased products across sectors, including ready-made garments, leather, jute, agro-processing, chemicals, and household goods. The expo aims to strengthen bilateral trade and investment, promote export diversification, and create new business opportunities.

Highlighting Bangladesh’s growing economic potential, the State Minister encouraged Spanish investors to explore opportunities in pharmaceuticals, leather and footwear, IT, renewable energy, advanced manufacturing, and sustainable jute products. She also appreciated the Spain-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry for facilitating business networking and cooperation.
