Mercantile Bank, Tradewind sign MoU

Mercantile Bank PLC recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tradewind GmbH, Germany, for availing non-recourse export factoring against sales contracts, usance LC discounting, and import factor services for the export and import customers of Mercantile Bank.

Ahmed Shaheen, additional managing director; Shamim Ahmed, deputy managing director & CAMLCO; and Md Fakhruzzaman Chowdhury, EVP & head of international division of the bank, along with Soheil Zali, regional CEO, Middle East & South Asia; Mahmoud Ibrahim, regional operations director – MESA; and Md Rashedul Hasan, country commercial head – Bangladesh of Tradewind, signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations at the bank’s premises.

Other senior officials from both organizations were also present on the occasion.
