6.13 MWp Solar Project: Fakir Technologies Signs Agreement with FKL Spinning Mills Ltd.

Dhaka, 3 November 2026: Fakir Technologies Ltd. has signed an agreement with FKL Spinning Mills Ltd. for the implementation of a 6.13 MWp On-grid Solar Power Project, in collaboration with Solar EPC Development Ltd. The agreement marks a significant milestone in the journey towards delivering large-scale renewable energy solutions and supporting sustainable industrial development in Bangladesh.

With an estimated first-year electricity generation of 8,238 MWh, the project is expected to avoid approximately 5,520 tonnes of CO₂ emissions annually. For FKL Spinning Mills Ltd., this initiative represents a major step towards reducing its environmental footprint, strengthening energy sustainability and embracing cleaner energy alternatives.

For Fakir Technologies Ltd., the project further demonstrates its growing capabilities in delivering large-scale renewable energy solutions for the industrial sector. Since 2022, the company has been actively operating in Bangladesh’s solar energy and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) sectors, building its expertise through global technology partnerships, project execution and integrated energy solutions. The project is being undertaken by Fakir Technologies Ltd., with Solar EPC Development Ltd. serving as its EPC partner.
