PM joins Bangladesh Solar Expo-2026

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman joined the opening ceremony of Bangladesh Solar Expo-2026 in the city this morning as the chief guest.
The inaugural ceremony began at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre in the capital, said Prime Minister’s Deputy Press Secretary Jahidul Islam Rony.
The Power Division and the Infrastructure Development Company Limited (IDCOL) jointly organised the expo for the first time with the theme “Utilise Every Inch of Rooftop, Increase Income through Solar Power”.
