Karotoa Green Spinning Mills Limited is in the process of establishing a state-of-the-art, environmentally sustainable yarn factory in Gazipur, equipped with comprehensive facilities for its workforce. In a conversation with Textile Focus, Dr. Abdul Ahad Akil chief executive officer and director of Karotoa Green Spinning.

Dr. Akil Ahad, a resilient and innovative professional, began his journey in 2007 as a trainee at Tara Spinning Mills Ltd. His dedication to the textile industry led him to assume roles such as Director at Karotoa Spinning Mills Ltd. and Deputy Managing Director at Enayetpur Spinning Mills Ltd. In 2018, he ventured into fashion, establishing the successful brand “Lend.” His recent accomplishments include founding Prekite Technologies, an IT and electronics company. and being appointed CEO & Director at Karotoa Green Spinning Mills Ltd.
