How our aggregation works
An aggregation process
AjkerNews collects and organises reporting from external publishers. It does not claim to have written those reports or independently verified every assertion in them. Each report remains attributed to its source.
Before a source is enabled
Administrators review a source’s identity, official endpoint, access and content policy. A production test checks whether usable headlines, original links and recent publication dates are available. A reviewed source may then publish valid imported items automatically.
How articles are organised
The system normalises links and dates, assigns categories, checks for duplicates and groups reports that appear to cover the same event. Language editions are distinguished without counting them as separate publishers. Automated decisions can be wrong; a grouping is not a conclusion that every report makes the same claims.
Images, excerpts and the reader
Only the source policy’s permitted display is used. Excerpts are selected from publisher-provided feed text, limited to three meaningful paragraphs and shown on reader pages. We do not write AI summaries. A clear source block and original-report link help readers check context.
Monitoring and administrative decisions
Scheduled checks track source freshness and fetch failures. Imports can pause when access or reliability changes. Administrators can hide material, correct settings or revise groupings, but we do not represent every automated article as manually reviewed.
Independence and accountability
A publisher’s views are its own. A listing, link or advertisement is not an endorsement by AjkerNews. Use the Corrections or Contact page to flag an attribution, grouping, link, image or rights problem.
