Independent Apparels partners with Panacea to strengthen skills for a changing RMG sector

Rising production costs, energy uncertainty, global competition and changing buyer expectations are putting new demands on Bangladesh’s ready-made garment industry. Meeting these challenges requires more than investment in machinery and technology. It also calls for stronger skills, practical knowledge and the ability to share and apply that knowledge across factory teams.

Against this backdrop, Independent Apparels Ltd. has partnered with Panacea Private Consulting Group on a two-year Manufacturing Excellence project. The initiative aims to improve factory performance while building the skills and internal capability needed to sustain improvements over time.

The launch was attended by S. M. Abu Tayyab, Managing Director of Independent Apparels; Syed Tanzim Mozaher, Director, Independent Apparels Ltd; Brothers Apparels Ltd; and members of the company’s leadership team. Dr. Azim Mohammad, Managing Director of Panacea, joined the event with the firm’s Vice President, Senior Consultant, and other team members.
