Future Skills: Preparing the Next Generation of RMG Professionals

A webinar on “Future Skills in RMG & Textile and AI Tools in RMG”, organised by Textile Times, brought together around 100 Textile Engineering students and RMG professionals for a practical discussion on the future of the industry.

Md. Salauddin, Director, Reaz Garments Ltd., shared his industry experience and discussed the skills young professionals will need as the RMG sector moves towards technology, sustainability and higher productivity. Shohel Hossen Saikat, Founder of ecoeen, Co-Founder of Bunon Bee and Lead Trainer of AI Mastery 360, discussed the growing role of AI tools in RMG.

The key takeaway from the session was that a degree alone will not be enough for tomorrow’s job market. Future professionals will need to continuously develop skills in AI, digital technology, data analysis, sustainability, communication and problem-solving.
