South America turns right

The political landscape in South America has recently been subjected to an ideological metamorphosis. Several countries have held elections in the last few months and the balance of power has dramatically shifted from left to right. Anti Trump , anti-conservative , very far left and rabidly pro-Palestinian governments have been defeated and a reversal of fortunes for Trump , his policies, his agenda and for Israel have exceeded the most hoped for expectations of those on the right.

Adding to the discomfort of Democrats and globalists, Trump’s dethroning of Maduro have created the conditions for Venezuela to extract itself from the corrupt, left wing fascism that ruined the country for decades into an acceptable socialism that even Trump can tolerate. The Maduro capture and the unfortunate and disastrous earthquake that followed created an environment that paved the way for Venezuela to reestablish relations with Israel, which only months ago under Maduro’s corrupt dictatorship was unthinkable. Venezuela were at the forefront of facilitating anti-Jewish state hysteria and assisting Iran and Hezbollah financially. All this has changed and given Israel’s prominent role is assisting Venezuela in her hour of need immediately after the earthquake, relations are more than friendly. This is quite remarkable.

And now we come to Brazil which has just gone through the first round of electoral voting leaving the current very left-wing government of Lula facing off with the opposition leader Bolsonaro and son of the former and jailed President of the same family name. Similar to the Trump – Harris Presidential election, the mainstream media had promoted Lula’s success driven by polls that suited their own ideological agenda. However, Bolsonaro triumphed easily in the first round and given that those other potential campaigners who have had to drop out were mostly on the right, it is probable that Brazil will also go from left to right by the end of Oct. Let’s briefly analyze the recent election changes on the continent of South America.
