M. M. Nazrul Islam Appointed Head of Business Operations at TEAM Group

Engr. M. M. Nazrul Islam, a distinguished Industrial and Production Engineering (IPE) graduate of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), has joined TEAM Group as Head of Business Operations. With nearly 20 years of professional experience, he brings extensive expertise in Bangladesh’s textile and apparel industry.

In his new role, Mr. Islam will lead integrated business operations at GRAMTECH Knit Dyeing Finishing & Garments Industries Ltd., a concern of TEAM Group. His responsibilities include overseeing marketing, knitting, dyeing, fabric finishing, garment manufacturing, and overall business performance, with a focus on strategic planning, productivity improvement, cost optimization, and sustainable profitability.

Throughout his career, Mr. Islam has held key positions at several prominent companies in the textile and apparel sector. He began his professional journey at FCI BD Ltd. as an Executive in Marketing before moving to Apex Textile & Printing Mills Ltd., where he worked in industrial engineering, planning, and lean projects. He later served as Head of Marketing & Operations at Manvill Styles Ltd., General Manager, Operations at Beximco Group, Senior General Manager, Operations at Lantabur Group, and General Manager, Production & Operations at Well Lord Knit Wears Ltd. under Bengal Hurricane Group.
