HSBC, BGMEA to host Bangladesh Apparel Roadshow in Hong Kong

The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited (HSBC) in Bangladesh and the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) will host the “Bangladesh Apparel Roadshow” in Hong Kong on 28 October 2026.

Organized in collaboration with the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh in Hong Kong, the event will take place at Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong, according to the press release. Md Mahbub ur Rahman, CEO of HSBC Bangladesh, and Mahmud Hasan Khan, president of BGMEA, will co-host the event.

The roadshow will bring together global buyers, sourcing partners and industry stakeholders to showcase Bangladesh’s evolving apparel manufacturing capabilities, including product diversification, technical apparel, innovation and sustainable manufacturing. As one of the world’s leading apparel-exporting countries, Bangladesh continues to strengthen its position in the global value chain. Against a backdrop of changing sourcing strategies and market dynamics, the roadshow will highlight the sector’s expanding capabilities and explore opportunities for deeper international trade and collaboration.
